Translation from Greek of works of Thōmas Magistros (Thekaras) of the type known as "Tikara", based on the writings and teachings of Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite. With canons of St. John of Damascus. Leaf 1a, the beginning of a mesonytic. The text proper of the Tikara begins on leaf 3a (contents identical to the text of Ms. Hil. 494 and 497). Leaf 151a, his prayers-lamentations for every day of the week (cf. Ms. Hil. 498). Incorporated into this manuscript, beginning on leaf 196a are five Canons of Petition to the Theotokos, with a note at the third that it is by St. John of Damascus. Without inscriptions. Ornamented headings and initials.
